Go to Pop Culture Madness (http://www.popculturemadness.com/Music/Pop-Modern/2006.html) and select the year you became 18. Snip the top 50 songs (or however many may be there) from the list and paste the list in your journal. Bold the ones you like, strike the ones you dislike, italicize the ones you know but don't care one way or another, and leave the ones you don't know as plain text.

I've been having issues with last.fm for about the last week. Playing music at their site often breaks up and loses connection (which doesn't happen with Pandora) and the same happens when I use their client. Additionally, I sometimes get an error where they say there is no more material in collection when I give it an artist to start from.

Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 5: No cheating.

I'm not the sort of person that has any success at starting LJ "memes" but maybe some of you will jump into this.

Well she's heading east, probably along the coast, I'm sure I can arrange for her to encounter one of these things. :)

Is it crappy covers day on Pandora or something? Every third song to come up for me today has been a bad cover of a song I actually like (or in one notable case, Madonna doing a crappy remix of one of her own songs.)
